Whole-Of-School Program For K-12 Students
How is The Program Implemented?
Our Whole-Of-School Program is tailored to the specific context of each school. In consultation with key stakeholders within the school community, our team designs and develops all program content in alignment with UNESCO’s International Technical Guidance for Sexuality Education (The Guidance). The Guidance presents the evidence base for delivering comprehensive sexuality education within a framework of human rights and gender equality.
Teaching staff at each school deliver the program content to students, via PDHPE lessons or wellbeing lessons. The Learning Consent team supports the program delivery with parent/carer seminars, professional development for teaching staff and whole-of-staff seminars. This Whole-of-School approach ensures the entire community is enabled to support the program, enhancing students’ learning experience.
Our Whole-of-School Program provides comprehensive relationships and consent education for students from Kindergarten/Prep through to Year 12. Evidence demonstrates a whole-of-school approach is best practice because it allows for parents/carers, staff and students to partner in learning.
A Learning Consent Whole-of-School program includes:
• Curriculum design and development (K-12)
• Expert training and ongoing support for staff
• Educational seminars for parents
• Facilitated student workshops
• Longitudinal program monitoring and evaluation
We partner with schools to deliver world-class wellbeing education programs that are aligned with international best-practice, and lead the way for comprehensive respectful relationships and wellbeing education in Australian schools.
