Whole-Of-School Program
For K-12 Students

How is a whole-of-school program implemented?

We understand that every school is unique. Our whole-of-school program is tailored to the specific context of each school we partner with. In consultation with key stakeholders within the school community, our team designs and develops all of the program content. Our bespoke whole-of-school programs are designed in alignment with UNESCO’s International Technical Guidance for Sexuality Education. The Guidance presents the evidence base for delivering comprehensive sexuality education within a framework of human rights and gender equality.

It is the school teaching staff who then deliver the program content to students, via PDHPE lessons or wellbeing classes. The Learning Consent teams supports the program delivery with parent and carer seminars, professional development for teaching staff and whole-of-staff seminars. This whole-of-school approach ensures the entire school community is enabled to support the program, enhancing the students learning experience.

Learning Consent is a provider of comprehensive relationships and consent education for students from Kindergarten through to Year 12. Evidence demonstrates that a best practice approach is a whole-of-school approach, ensuring that parents, staff and students are all engaged.

A Learning Consent Whole-of-School program includes the following:

• Curriculum design and development (K-12)
• Expert training and ongoing support for staff
• Educational seminars for parents
• Facilitated student workshops
• Longitudinal program monitoring and evaluation

We partner with schools to deliver world-class wellbeing education programs that are aligned with international best-practice, and lead the way for comprehensive respectful relationships and wellbeing education in Australian schools.

Professional Learning for Educators

The Learning Consent team offer professional learning workshops and seminars for educators. As well as informing wellbeing and teaching staff of the latest research on young people’s experiences of relationships, sex and gender-based violence, these offerings equip educators with evidence based resources that enable staff to confidently teach sensitive subjects.

All Learning Consent professional learning is delivered to school staff by qualified teachers with expertise in respectful relationships education.

Professional learning workshops and seminars are delivered onsite, in-person, with the option of hybrid delivery (online and in-person) where preferred.
