University Programs

Learning Consent partners with universities across Australia and overseas to deliver impactful education programs aligned with international best-practice for the prevention of sexual and gender-based violence. Our in-person workshops & self-paced online modules are tailored to suit each institution. The training addresses university-specific contexts, including residential colleges and internal services for responding to and reporting gender-based violence.

“The feedback was remarkable, and the effect on behaviour was evident immediately after the training.”

  • Online Modules

Our online modules centre on the stories of Australian young people’s lived experiences of sex and relationships, engaging students with a relatable, compelling and evidence-based e-learning experience that equips them with the knowledge and tools to navigate consent and prevent gendered violence in their everyday lives. We deliver cutting-edge consent education that drives violence-prevention outcomes for Australian educational institutions.

  • Workshops

We offer facilitated workshops for students, and professional development seminars for staff. Our workshops have been co-designed with Australian university students, and are responsive to the latest National Student Safety Survey data and the Universities Australia Good Practice Guide (2023). They feature stage plays performed by professional actors, and discussion groups facilitated by trained student leaders.
